Volunteering with Meals on Wheels

On Friday, August 14 we're partnering with Meals on Wheels to deliver hot lunches to homebound members of our community. Volunteers will meet at 10:55am behind the Community Service Programs of West Alabama’s offices to receive instructions, sign liability waivers, and load the meals. At 11:00am, everyone will disperse to deliver meals along their assigned routes. Meal delivery typically takes 30 minutes to an hour. After completing their assigned routes, volunteers will return to the CSP office to return the meal delivery bags. In order to keep everyone safe, volunteers are required to wear a face covering and sanitize their hands between deliveries.
