United Way of West Alabama Day of Action
On Friday, June 18 from 9:00am-noon, we'll be participating in the United Way of West Alabama's Day of Action by volunteering at Temporary Emergency Services. TES needs our help loading textile and clothing donations unsuitable for resale onto a truck for recycling.

About the event
Each year the United Way of West Alabama's Day of Action brings together more than 500 volunteers to tackle service projects at nonprofits and schools across our community. On Friday, June 18 from 9:00am to noon, we'll be volunteering at Temporary Emergency Services (TES). Since 1945, TES has been helping individuals and families in crisis by providing financial and other temporary assistance. TES recycles clothing and textile donations not suitable for resale and needs our help loading these items onto a truck. No heavy lifting is required. Masks are preferred.
