Tuscaloosa SAFE Center Donation Drive & Tour

Throughout the month of March, we'll be collecting donation items for the Tuscaloosa SAFE Center. On Wednesday, March 31, from 5:15-6:30pm, we'll deliver donations, tour the facility, and learn more about how this community-based, collaborative agency is fulfilling its mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered healthcare, advocacy, and counseling services to those who have experienced sexual assault.

Donation Items Needed:

• Men's underwear (all sizes)
• Women’s t-shirts (sizes S-3X)
• Women's bottoms (e.g. leggings, athletic shorts, etc., all sizes)
• Hand sanitizer (mini bottles)
• Tampons, sanitary napkins
• Non-perishable snacks (e.g. crackers, chips, candy)
• Bottled or canned beverages (e.g. water, soft drinks, juice)
• Headphones with microphone for virtual therapy
• Journals
• Stress balls
• Travel-sized hair brushes
• Hair ties
• Small portable chargers

Can't make the tour? Drop off your donations at Capitol Park Title LLC (2824 7th St, M-F, 8am-5pm) or Tuscaloosa SAFE Center (1601 University Blvd, M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm) or contact community@youngtuscaloosa.com for donation pickup. Monetary donations are appreciated and can be made via Venmo (@TSC-1601).
