About the event
Sign up to read to a classroom at one of United Way - Success by 6's partner schools for Read Across America. Just 30 minutes of your time will put a smile on a child's face for the entire school day! Individual volunteers are wonderful, but feel free to pull in a couple of co-workers, carpool to the school, and tackle a couple of classrooms together! The school will have books you can read OR you can bring a book that you always enjoyed reading as you grew up!
Wear Elementary school appropriate attire. Young Tuscaloosa or Live United t-shirts would be ideal. There are different days and time slots for two different schools, Central Elementary and Matthews Elementary. Head to the link to pick a day and time! Deadline to sign up is February 22!
This is Free for Members and Guests and is a great way to help a child and give back to the Community!
