About the event
In lieu of an in-person community engagement activity in July, we are encouraging all YT members to participate in the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama's Operation Backpack. Operation Backpack is a school supply drive benefiting local youth taking place July 5-August 8. There are two ways to participate:
- Fill a newly purchased backpack with supplies and drop off at Walmart Supercenter Skyland or Northport, the YMCA of Tuscaloosa, Black Warrior Brewing Company, or Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama Jaycee Park Unit.
- Make an monetary donation and BGCWA will do the shopping for you.
