Join Young Tuscaloosa for its April Food for Thought: "What is Economics? And, Why Should You Care?" on Friday, April 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The University Club. Exchange good conversation and learn about an area that affects your everyday life.
This month's Food for Thought will feature UA Instructor for Economics, Finance & Legal Studies Dr. Will Walsh. Dr. Walsh will speak on "What is Economics? And, Why Should You Care? Preconceptions, Misconceptions, and Applications." Free for YT members to attend. $15 for non-members to attend. Delicious lunch provided by The University Club.
Dr. Walsh is a special member of the Alabama State Bar and has published research articles in journals such as the Alabama Law Review and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Walsh was recognized as a Vanderbilt College Scholar and William C. Byrd Scholar as an undergraduate student. He was designated as a Yetta F. Samford, III Memorial Scholar by the University of Alabama School of Law and as a C&BA Dean’s Scholar and Julia G. Melson Scholar by the College of Business Administration. Dr. Walsh has been recognized as both the James F. Cashman Faculty Award and the Faculty Excellence Award (twice) by the graduating classes of the UA Executive MBA program.
