SPORTS & WELLNESS CHAIR

Young Tuscaloosa's first-ever Sports & Wellness Chair, Eric Hull, will complete his two-year term on the Steering Committee at the end of 2021. From paddleboarding to boxing to yoga and everything in between, under Eric's leadership, we have been able to offer our members a wide range of fun and engaging monthly fitness activities. We are currently seeking a successor to build on the momentum that Eric has created and continue inspiring our members to be social and active.

You might be a good fit for the role of Sports & Wellness Chair, if...

  • You are a current member of Young Tuscaloosa.

  • You are passionate about physical health and wellness.

  • You enjoy participating in group fitness activities and recruiting others to participate in group fitness activities.

  • You will embrace the challenge of developing monthly sports & wellness programming that is suitable for all fitness levels and facilitating YT's participation in local sports leagues.

This is a volunteer position with a time commitment of approximately 5-7 hours per month, which includes attending the monthly Steering Committee meeting from 11:30am-12:30pm on the third Tuesday of each month.
